Buildings of all kinds fascinate me, especially heritage buildings.
Unlike landscapes and other natural subjects, it's the man-made element, the structure and form, and especially the ornamentation in older buildings that I love. This aspect of architecture, especially when it contrasts with its natural surroundings, captivates me.
Older buildings are like time capsules that when captured in a certain way can transport the viewer back in time. Newer, more modern buildings create their own special ambience and like older buildings can inspire a well told story.
